KEY Oklahoma City

rococoCraving East Coast fare? Hunger for fresh, North Atlantic, coldwater shellfish? Look no further than Rococo Restaurant & Fine Wine.

Owner Bruce Rinehart, Chef Jason Bustamante, and Manager Robert Wallace deliver the authentic flavors of the East Coast within several miles of most major hotels in Oklahoma City.

Both Connecticut natives, Rinehart and Bustamante honed their culinary skills at restaurants like Legal Sea Foods in Boston and Jasper White’s restaurant in the Mohegan Sun Casino.

Many patrons begin their experience with tempting appetizers called “cookies”. At Rococo, cookies may include Atlantic Salmon sautéed with sweet onions mixed with imported Chevre (goat cheese), butter and basil, baked on toasted Stirato.

Other guests insist on the Rococo Jumbo Lump Crabcake, served with a subtle Thai red chili cream sauce and a small field salad tossed in balsamic vinaigrette. It’s crabcake that only East Coast restaurateurs can create and considered one of the best.

East Coast visitors will recognize the Dark and Stormy being prepared by the bartender. The Dark and Stormy contains ginger beer and Jamaican dark rum (Gosling’s Black Seal) with a splash of soda and lime.

After appetizers, customers are invited to indulge in a wide selection of entrees. True seafood lovers will relish the Main Lobster Tail or Blue Point Oyster. Rococo’s shellfish are flown in from the East Coast every week. (No gulf water shellfish served at Rococo.)

Rococo features more than seafood. Local residents and visitors seek out Rococo for its Roast Rack of Colorado Lamb served with a blue cheese baked tomato, Long Island Duckling, or Pan-Roasted Stuffed Pork Chop. There’s also a delicious variety of steaks and pasta on the menu.

Every Monday night, Rococo features “Open Jazz Jam” with local musicians sharing their talent from 6 p.m. to Close. Every Thursday night is “Ladies Night” featuring live music, champagne specials, and complimentary “cookies” for the ladies.

Every Sunday, Rococo rolls out its special brunch menu. Salmon Benedict and Ruby-Red Mojitos are a favorite of diners on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking of drinks, Rococo presents over 40 martinis created in-house for its guests. Rococo also offers a progressive and affordable selection of wine that will compliment any meal.

Conveniently located between Downtown and NW Expressway, Rococo is located at 2824 N. Pennsylvania. Rococo is open for lunch and dinner.
