Giant-screen theater allows audiences to encounter the ultimate aerial combat experience in Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag.
Audiences can climb into the pilot’s seat for the most extensive Air Force training exercise on earth, and learn the true nature of heroism in Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag now showing at OmniDome Theater.
Join Captain John Stratton, a young American pilot, determined to follow the footsteps of his grandfather, a decorated World War II flying ace in a rare insider’s view into the teamwork and dangers inherent in military fight training. He joins the world’s best pilots at Red Flag – the most challenging training exercises for the air forces of the U.S. and its allies. The film follows Captain Stratton in his F-15 Eagle as he undertakes Red Flag's treacherous and immensely complicated training. His childhood vision of heroism widens as he witnesses the teamwork of his ground crew and other pilots, ensuring a successful mission and his safe return home.
The film features 20 F-15E Strike Eagles, representing four American squadrons, considered by many to be the greatest fighter aircraft ever built. Other aircraft include German Tornados, F-16’s from Israel, F-18 Hornets from Canada, the British Royal Navy’s famous Harrier jump jets and additional American supplied aircraft.
